Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel offers lovely rooms with a small kitchenette, perfect for a quick breakfast, that were ready for an early check-in at 11 am. The service was fantastic with staff going the extra mile, although a bit rushed at times. The location is great for enjoying breakfast and amenities but could be noisy at night. The dining experience was generally good, with engaging staff, despite some room for improvement in the seasoning of dishes. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service and convenient facilities.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The apartment with 3 bedrooms was small but very clean and neat, and the massage chairs added a nice touch. The service provided a homey feeling, especially since it was conveniently located near Southern Cross and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring Melbourne, being close to various attractions and transport hubs. The dining options were satisfactory, and the facilities met my needs.
The hotel is perfectly located near the Southern Cross Station, making it convenient for travel. The rooms are spacious and come with handy blackout roller blinds and a useful kitchenette area, although a bit small for three adults. The service was exceptional, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Dining options were good, though the early availability could be improved. The location is ideal for exploring Melbourne, being close to transportation and city shopping areas.
The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, within walking distance of key attractions and public transport, but the room was on the small side and quite dark, while facing noisy surroundings. The service was exceptional, especially being helpful with our bags during early arrival and late departure. The dining experience was impressive, offering a mix of buffet and a la carte options in a cozy setting.
The hotel offers small and simple rooms that are great for families, featuring a good-sized desk, strong hot shower, comfy bed, and some free nibbles with coffee/tea. The welcoming service at Alto is a highlight, with staff providing helpful information and recommendations. The location is very good, close to amenities and services, though slightly borderline in some areas. Dining options are fantastic, especially the wood-fired pizzas. Overall, a value-for-money stay with friendly staff and enjoyable facilities.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean and very well-equipped, providing for a comfortable and peaceful experience. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. However, the dining experience had its ups and downs, with some hits and misses in terms of variety. The hotel's location was superb, offering easy access to key transportation hubs and popular city attractions.
